My main concern when I started working with Readsoft was the lacking ability to co-operate on faulty invoices within Verify (new supplier, outdated bankinfo, etc), as the only option was to add a User Remark (Alt+F6) and HOPE for other Verify-operators to notice the button at the bottom lit up in blue with "User Remark". I have contact with people at MediusFlow, which has an ongoing dialog with Readsoft developers, and they implemented a column in the invoices work-list (the inbox within Verify, showing all invoices in a list, ready for verifying) which shows a date if & when a "User Remark" is added. We can now right-click an invoice with a User Remark, from the work-list window, and select "ProcessLog" to view the comment. This is a handy feature and help us alot. I've also requested User Remarked invoices to initiate a pop-up window with the ProcessLog when working with multiple invoices. I wonder if this column is visible for all Readsoft users or only us at Elkem?

The ProcessLog is btw a very handy tool for seeing why an invoice was identified uncorrectly etc. Access this dialog within an open invoice by selecting "Invoices" at the top, then "Information..."

Hi Aleksander,

That's a great suggestion regarding adding the user remark column to Verify.  Our AP processors will find this useful too.  Thanks!
Note that users with Manager access can do this via: Settings > Inbox Configuration > Edit Columns > Add

As you said, this populates the field with the date and time the user remark was added, not with the actual user remark.  It would be a good feature to have an automatic pop-up if a user remark was added, however I think this would need to be an optional feature in the View settings.

Ahaa, I see - that's great [smile] How did you get the "Source" column in there? I looked in the inbox settings in Manager, but didn't see it.

Ok, that's easy.  Its a user defined field.  We then use an InvoiceRules plugin to populate the field.
It looks like this:

Our original implementation had both Email and Scan and I added Import for when we manually drop the images into our Images folder and process from there.  We have only had to do this a couple of times, and only if we lose some invoices due to accidental deletion in Manager.  Its useful for the test system as I often Import invoices in the test environment as our scanner is 3000 km away in QLD!

Wow, what an amazing reply! I wish I could implement this at our place, however - I don't know where to find the Invoice Rules plug-in..

Hi again,
Contact Readsoft and ask them how to get hold of it.  I recall it was just part of our overall implementation.  Readsoft sent us the updated program and license file when we did our upgrade.
It's a handy little plugin.  Easy to install.
