Dear all,

Is it possible to add search help for Readsoft Web App? I have maintained a custom search help in tcode /COCKPIT/WI19 but it is not displayed in the Web App. Is there anything else I must do to make the search help appear?

I'm new to Readsoft, I'm a bit confused where to start. Do you have any suggestion for me/where can I find technical documentation/tutorial for customizing/enhancing Readsoft?

Thank you in advance for any suggestion/help [smile]

Regards,
Chyntia

Hi Chyntia,

I remember I created a search help for CO-PA values that took me a lot of time until it worked. I had to create a search help through SE11 and assign it in the next point of /cockpit/wi19 (optional: SAP Search) About the SE11 step I've found in my notes "don't copy from an existing search as it will copy the selection method and can't be changed later".

So I think you need to:

* Use transaction code SE11 to create a new search.
* Assign the new search in /cockpit/wi19 - Optional.

Hope that helps.

Regards.

Hi Chyntia,

Did you ever succeed on this? We have gone through a similar problem and only now I see your questio was related to one of the "blue" webcycle versions, then probably customizing is not completed in /cockpit/wi19, but in /n/eby/pdvi_vvmo, depending on the version you have.

Kind Regards.
