Hello,
We use REPORTER and are finding that there are several hundred invoices that are not reflecting the correct status in REPORTER.  What I mean is the invoice has been posted and reflects correctly in Cockpit, but REPORTER is showing a status of "errors"  any ideas

Hi Annie
In Australia, I am only aware of one company who have Reporter.  I contacted them and was told they have not seen this particular problem.  However, they are not confident about the accuracy of the data coming out of Reporter.  They said there is not much local expertise regarding this software in Australia so when they have an issue, they get assistance from Readsoft in Europe.

My own thought however is that I suspect it has something to do with invoices that have been posted (MIRO'd) outside of the invoice cockpit.  These might of been finished to the posted document hence the status is green within Invoice Cockpit, but not recognised as green by the Reporter program.  Can you identify whether the discrepancy is due to "Finished" documents?

There is a user exit 062 which changes the status of invoices within cockpit (see trans /cockpit/c13) if they have been posted outside of the cockpit.

It could also be a bug with Reporter.  If your local Readsoft cannot assist, ask for it to be referred to 3rd level support (unless someone else on the forum has seen this issue ???)
Cheers

I've heard back from ReadSoft and they have recommended doing a full extract again:

"You'll want to run the REPORTER extract in SAP with the EXTRACT ALL switch, but before your next QlikView Publish job, you'll need to run the Delete QVD files in the REPORTER Configuration Tool.  This will allow the ProcessAnalyzer file to be rebuilt and will ensure you have the correct data."

this makes me a little nervous, but we will give it a try.  I did ask them about  userexit 062 that you mentioned below, as I do think that some of these documents fall into that category.  But they didn't comment on that.

I had a few other questions that they failed to comment on as well, but they are "closing the call."  Aaaah well, we'll see how a complete "Extract" works.

I'll keep you posted.  [smile]
