I just set up a fusion drive and softRAID is reporting that the SSD (brand new) is about to fail. I've run disk utility on it and it's not able to find anything wrong with the drive.

It looks most likely to me that this is an error on the part of softRAID reporting. The disk stability is good, and I'm not experiencing any user issues that would suggest drive failure.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should do here?

Oah, I see I misread this. It's actually the Hard Drive that it reports errors on. It's older than the SSD, so maybe it is going... but Disk Utility reports that its fine... So what software should I believe?
